Infosys planning to acquire rival Consulting firms

India's Infosys Technologies Ltd. is in acquisition talks with several companies in India and overseas, the Times of India reported, citing Chief Operating Officer S.D. Shibulal. "We do not want to comment on rumours. However, we are looking at multiple merger and acquisition options," said Shibulal, according to the report. Infosys' acquisition targets may include France's Capgemini, the business process outsourcing arm of Philips Global, and Siemens AG's Indian BPO and consulting services arms, the report said.
