Deloitte, one of the big four accounting and consulting firms, said that group revenues would grow by 15% to around $23 billion for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2007.

William Parrett, Deloitte's chief executive officer, told Reuters in an interview on the sidelines of the Boao Forum for Asia on the southern Chinese island of Hainan that all of the group's four key business areas would experience double-digit revenue growth for the year.

Growth would be strongest in its consulting business, Parrett said.

"We're probably going to close the year with about 20 percent growth in the consulting group," he said, adding that much of that activity was coming from post-merger implementation work.

Parrett said this would mark the fifth straight year of double-digit growth for the firm, setting it on the path to overtake rival PriceWaterhouseCoopers by the end of 2008 in terms of revenue.

"We think by 2010 we should be able to be at $30 billion globally," Parrett said.
