Accenture acquires Japanese IT consultancy

Accenture (ACN) agreed to acquire Sopia Corporation, a privately held consulting and IT solutions company, specializing in Oracle systems integration.
Terms weren't disclosed. Accenture, a Hamilton, Bermuda, management consulting company, said Wednesday that the acquisition of Sopia, which is based in Tokyo, will extend Accenture's Oracle capabilities in Japan.
The acquisition is expected to close within 30 days.
